A SYDENHAM 48-year-old man has been charged over an attack with scissors that left a police officer with fractured ribs.
The Lewisham officer, aged 36, was rushed to hospital on February 6 after attending a callout in Farmcote Road, Lee.
Police say the officer, who has since been discharged from hospital, was wearing body armour at the time of the attack.
Alexander Holm, of Albion Villas Road, Sydenham, will appear via virtual court today charged with attempted wounding with intent, ABH and criminal damage.
