LEWISHAM police have uncovered a haul of stolen power tools and are seeking to return them to their owners.
There were 17 high-value pieces of equipment discovered at an address in Moorside Road, Downham, which led to the arrest of a 19-year-old man who has been bailed pending further enquires.
Pictures of the goods – believed to have been stolen before January 1 last year – can now be viewed on the Met police’s Flickr site.
Anyone who had power tools taken before this date is asked to view the page and email DC Trevett on Andy.G.Trevett@met.police.uk or call 0208 2848362/8346 if the property is recognised.
Emails should include details of the property stolen, the date it was taken, the photograph title on Flickr, any identification marks such as a serial number, a crime reference number if reported to the police, and personal contact details.
