FOOTBALL fans will remember murdered teen Jimmy Mizen tomorrow (Dec 1) as Millwall take on Charlton Athletic at The Den.

Barry and Margaret Mizen want to thank Millwall fans for the tremendous support they have received for the Jimmy Mizen Foundation, set up in memory of their son who was killed in a violent incident on May 10 2008.

There will not be a collection on the day but volunteers will hand out commemorative wristbands in addition to leaflets detailing the work of the charity and and how individuals can lend their support.

The players of both sides will warm up in special t-shirts bearing the foundation's motto: 'promoting the good in young people' and fans will have the chance to write a message of peace and hope for the younger generation to be posted on a 'Wall of Hope' by the Blue bus in the car park. The T shirts will be signed by the players for future charity auctions and raffles.

Accompanying Barry and Margaret onto the pitch prior to kick-off will be Colin and Sally Knox, whose son Rob, a Charlton fan, was killed in similarly tragic circumstances to Jimmy.

The families will be met by Lions legend Neil Harris and Steve Gritt who served both clubs with distinction in a variety of capacities. Barry will then thank the crowd for their ongoing support before the two managers, Kenny Jackett and Chris Powell sign the Foundation's peace car at the side of the pitch after the emergence of the two teams.

The BBC's Football League Show will be at The Den covering the game, and presenter Manish Bhasin will also sign the car.
