ROBBERY: Robbers escaped with £400 after breaking into Ladbrokes, Footscray Road, Eltham, at noon on September 4. A member of staff was threatened with a knife by a man aged between 25 and 28 wearing a blue tracksuit. The other suspect is 25 years old and wore a grey tracksuit.

DUMP IT: Residents with waste are reminded they can take TVs, furniture, oil filters and wood to the Reuse and Recycling Centre, Nathan Way, Plumstead. Those making deliveries must ensure their car displays a waste permit sticker. Call 020 89214661.

BOMB SCARE: Shoppers and employees were evacuated from Eltham High Street at 11am on August 30 following a bomb scare at Barclays Bank. A controlled explosion was carried out on a black briefcase left inside the premises.

CYCLE THEFTS: Greenwich Council and police are warning residents to lock up their bikes after a spate of thefts from Greenwich, Woolwich and Eltham town centres.
