LICENSING chiefs will decide on August 10 whether to allow a food store to sell alcohol until 3am every day.
ARD Food Store, Blackheath Hill, Greenwich, currently has a licence to sell alcohol between Monday and Saturday from 8am to 11pm and on Sundays from 10am to 10.30pm.
The application from owners Ali Pekin and Ali Dogan comes after Greenwich Council's licensing committee refused them a 24-hour licence in March.
Two objections from residents have been made to the new application on the grounds of the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.
The owners say they will fit a fully-operational CCTV system at the premises if the licence is granted.
ARD Food Store is located in a parade of fast food outlets and is near the George and Dragon pub. It is about 40m away from residential housing.
