POLICE have released these CCTV images after four youths stamped on a man's head in an "unprovoked" street attack.
A 29-year-old man and a woman were walking up Charlton Church Lane towards Charlton station between 2.40am and 3.35am.
The four yobs, believed to be in their early 20s, were walking towards them.
Police say an "altercation" broke out between the couple and the group, resulting in the man being pushed to the ground.
The four suspects stamped on the victim's head several times before running off towards Woolwich Road.
Police say the man, who was taken to hospital with facial injuries following the attack, is still suffering "medical problems" since being assaulted.
The suspects are white and were wearing tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Two are slim and the other two are of a medium and large build. Two of the men have shaved heads.
Any witnesses to the incident, which occurred on May 13, should call PC Mark Day at Greenwich police on 020 8284 9316.
Witnesses can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
