POLICE are hunting for graffiti yobs who splashed paint over a children's playground and a youth centre.
The youngsters, believed to be three white boys aged around 11, took 40 five-litre tins of white paint from a compound used by contractors working for Greenwich Council.
The metal storage hut where the building materials were stored is situated on The Course, Eltham.
Paint was splashed over the already heavily-graffitied Coldharbour Youth Centre and a neighbouring children's adventure playground.
Council workers used chemicals and water sprays to remove the paint following the incident, which happened at some time between the evening of May 28 and the following morning.
Those behind the vandalism are though to be part of an emerging graffiti gang known as the LR Crew.
Anyone with information should call the Coldharbour Safer Neighbourhood Team on 020 8284 5723.
