MEET Barry O'Connor Britain's unluckiest psychic astrologer.

The 51-year-old has spent two years gazing into the stars, trying to develop the perfect system to help Lottery players hit the jackpot.

Now he claims he has a tried-and-tested method which turns up two of the six Lottery numbers most weeks.

The problem? Lottery players need to guess at least three numbers correctly to even win £10.

Mr O'Connor, of Guild Road, Charlton, said: "I can usually predict at least one number, normally two. And if I put out 10 numbers, about three or four will usually be correct.

"I cannot turn around and say my method will make you the richest man on the planet.

"It does not guarantee you a win but it will improve your chances."

Charlton's answer to Mystic Meg, who has practised astrology for 25 years, added: "I'm not a crank. This is a very serious method."

Mr O' Connor, who works as a carpenter, bases his system around the theories of horary astrology.

This technique is designed to answer specific questions, such as should I take this new job?, should I buy this house?, or, should I get married?

Thanks to his carefully compiled number charts, Mr O'Connor says he is able to use the horary technique to answer the age-old question will my Lottery numbers come up?

Despite being confident of his system's success, the carpenter-turned-astrologer admits he rarely tests it out himself.

He added: "I'm not much of a hard gambler. I think it is a mug's game.

"I just hope I can help a few people get lucky."

l This week Barry has delved into his charts and come up with the following Lottery numbers.

For Wednesday he predicts 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 10, 14 and 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 14 for the draw on Saturday.
