Mother’s Day bingo delight

A MUM-OF-TWO received an extra-special Mother's Day present when she scooped a top prize at her local bingo hall.

Jane Morgan, 42, of Kidbrooke, won £250,000 at the Woolwich Gala Club after sharing a top prize on March 6.

As part of a game featuring more than 500 clubs across the UK she and a woman in Northampton called in 41 numbers to share a £500,000 prize.

Generous Jane is to give £10,000 of her prize to friend Monica Celoro from Plumstead, who was with her on the night.

Mrs Morgan said: "When they announced how much I had won it was a truly memorable moment. I will never forget it."

She now plans to pay off her debts, buy her council house and have a two-week holiday in Cyprus.
