DOZENS of Anti-Nazi League members turned out to protest against a National Front march in memory of a teenager.
Around 30 National Front members had arranged a meeting at Woolwich Dockyard to lay a wreath outside the Albion pub on Woolwich Church Street in memory of Terry Gregory, the 19-year-old lifeguard killed over an umbrella last January.
The far-right nationalist organisation claims he was a victim of a racial attack, although his parents, Susan and Terry, of Hitchin Close, Charlton, have distanced themselves from the claims.
More than 80 Anti-Nazi League protesters met the National Front contingent on January 15 but Woolwich sector Inspector Jim Moore said the day passed peacefully.
