A SCHOOL has showcased the latest developments in communication technology.
The Communication Works show was held at Charlton School, Charlton Park Road, on March 19.
Around 80 people attended the free event which was held in partnership with independent advisory group CENMAC (Centre for Micro-Assisted Communication), which is based at the school.
It featured free seminars, new products and advice for teachers on ways of helping disabled pupils.
Among the exhibits were toys that could be used with the flick of a switch, and devices which assist people who usually have problems verbally communicating.
The school caters for special needs pupils aged 11 to 19, some of whom welcomed visitors and served refreshments.
