A CHARITY offering young people experience in the music industry has been given a donation to continue its work.
Based in Watson's Street, Deptford, the Midi Music Company has been given a grant of £15,000 by The Jack Petchey Foundation.
The charity particularly tries to help young people who are unemployed, homeless, in care, abused, truants excluded from school, offenders or have learning difficulties.

Executive director Wozzy Brewster said: "This funding will help us to continue offering opportunities to young people, and making sure their views are a focus of what we do in the future."
The foundation offers grants to programmes and projects which help young people aged from
11 to 25.
South-east London grants officer Jane Evans said: "We are delighted to be able to support
organisations such as the Midi Music Company."
