A 35-YEAR-OLD man has been fined nearly £800 after pleading guilty to producing cannabis.

Andrew Haselup, of Horley Road, Mottingham, appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court on the charge.

On May 16, he was sentenced to an 18-month community order and 150 hours of community service. He was also ordered to attend a drugs rehabilitation programme.

Unemployed Haselup was also fined £789.95.

Haselup was arrested after police raided his home on March 13.

Four bags of cannabis, 76 cannabis plants and hydroponics growing equipment were recovered from the property.
