TWO women arrested over the murder of a Lewisham brothel owner have been released without charge, police say.
Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to the flat above a barbers shop in Loampit Hill at around 2.25am yesterday.
On arrival, they found the man, who has not been formally identified but is believed to be in his late 50s, with serious injuries.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at around 2.40am. A post mortem was scheduled to take place today at Greenwich Mortuary.
A murder inquiry is now underway led by Detective Chief Inspector Caroline Good of the Met's Homicide and Serious Crime Command.
Police say they are keeping an open mind on the killing.
