Machete man detained by police
A MACHETE wielding man has been detained by police following an incident in Brockley last night.
Police were called to Vesta Road at approximately 6.06pm yesterday, to reports of a man in possession of a machete.
Officers attended the scene, where they found the man, and called for assistance from central units.
They managed to restrain, detain and disarm him.
No one was injured and the man was taken to the Ladywell Unit. The circumstances of the incident, and the man officers detained, are being investigated.
