A 30-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of man whose remains were found in a field.
Thomas Puxty, aged 30, was arrested on suspicion of murder in Plumstead on March 8 and charged on March 25.
The remains of 60-year-old Lee Clement were discovered on March 10 in Partridge Wood, Kent.
Mr Clement, of no fixed abode, had not been heard from in five years, but was never reported missing.
It is believed his remains may have been there for several years and a post-mortem held on March 12 at Greenwich Mortuary could not determine a cause of death.
Puxty, also of no fixed abode, is due to appear at Greenwich Magistrates Court on Monday (March 28) charged with murder.
