GREENWICH: Charity urging people to enter football tournament

A CHARITY is inviting budding footballers to take part in a tournament.

Sue Ryder Care provides health and social care services to communities across the country and is launching its Sue Ryder International Cup for the third year.

A five-a-side tournament will be taking place at the London Soccerdome in East Parkside, Greenwich, on November 18.

The winners will not only win the cup but will also get the chance to play against ex premiership legends.

Teams must pay a £200 deposit and £1,000 in sponsorship.

All the money raised will go towards supporting the charity’s work overseas in Malawi and Albania.
