DARTFORD: Lorry fire causing M25 delays

TRAFFIC is severely delayed on the M25 clockwise because of an earlier lorry fire at the Dartford Crossing.
The vehicle stopped on the QE2 Bridge at around 7am after part of the engine caught fire.
Firefighters from Dartford, Thames-Side and Maidstone were called and took around 20 minutes to put out the blaze.
There are no reports of any injuries but there is congestion in the area as the foreign vehicle has not yet been removed from the road.
