A WOMEN’S support group is celebrating 25 years of youth work.
The Lewisham Young Women's Resource Project opened its doors in 1985.
The project provides group activities, meetings and support for young women aged nine to 25 who have varied support needs.
Activities on offer include fitness, cookery, drama and ICT.
Its celebratory event will be held on Saturday (September 11) from noon to 6pm in Brownhill Road, Catford.
It will be opened by comedian Angie Le Mar and consist of workshops, live performances and free giveaways.
All women across the borough are invited to attend the event.
