LEWISHAM: New messaging service set up by Safer Neighbourhoods teams


THE Met police has set up a new messaging service to inform people of what is happening in their area.

Safer Neighbourhoods teams across Lewisham will send messages to interested residents to keep the community informed about their area.

Lewisham Police and Lewisham Council will be telling households about safety activities and initiatives, prosecutions and sentencing outcomes, as well as critical incidents in their ward.

In order to receive messages people will need to register their details with their local team.

Once registered to the Community Link system, residents will receive an email when there is relevant news about their area.
