THREE graduate pals are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime as they attempt to rally to Mongolia to raise cash for charity.
Grant Taylor, 22 from Ellison Road, Sidcup, Mike Sheridan, 21 from Belmont Hill, Blackheath and Chris Moger, 22, from Barnet in North London will set off from Goodwood on July 24 in their £600 Hyundai Accent car, hoping to arrive in Ulanbaatar in Mongolia in four to six weeks.
The event raises cash for the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation, which provides medical care, nutrition, vocational training and job placements for children in Mongolia and Vietnam.
Mr Taylor said: “We all have reasonably privileged backgrounds and this was a chance to do something exciting and give something back by raising money for charity.”
