CELEBRITIES, story tellers, musicians and drummers have helped to boost a charity's funds by more than £4,000.
Ex-EastEnders actor Joe Absolom and Casualty's Patrick Robinson were also among the 50 volunteers who took part in a park party at Manor House Gardens, Lee.
The money was raised for Lewisham Portage a charity for pre-school children with special needs.
Visitors took part in raffles, played hook the duck and bought plants, cakes and toys to raise the cash.
Event organiser, Phillippa Keogh, said: "We had a fantastic turnout with almost 4,000 people.
"Thankfully the rain stayed away and everyone worked really hard.
"We are over the moon by the amount of money raised."
