A FUNERAL directors is appealing for help with building an Easter egg mountain which will be donated to a children’s hospice.
Nash Funerals on Tudor Parade, Eltham, is urging people to donate an easter egg, which will be presented to sick children and their families at Demelza Hospice in Wensley Close, Eltham, on April 1.
Easter eggs can be handed to staff at the funeral home by March 31.
Branches of Nash Funerals can also be found on Park View Road in Welling and Crayford High Street.
Regional manager for the funeral directors, Paula Hergest, said: “There are many youngsters in the local area, who due to illness or financial constraints, wouldn’t have ordinarily received the gift of an egg this year.
“Hopefully this initiative will ensure we can spread a little more cheer this Easter.”
Demelza provides hospice care for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
