WELL Hall Road has been closed both ways to traffic today (Mar 18) due to a burst water main.
Police have closed the road off between Well Hall Roundabout and Prince Rupert Road while Thames Water tries to fix the problem.
Residents say the problem has been ongoing since Monday and the leaking water has made at least four holes in the road and pavement.
Mother-of-one Julie Broughton said: “It’s going to be mayhem down here later this evening."
