A 41-YEAR-OLD man was injured after signage from a bank fell on him as he used a cash point.
The man was standing at the Santander cash point in Eltham High Street yesterday (March 15) when the incident happened.
Emergency services were called at around 10.30am.
The man was taken to Lewisham Hospital with shoulder injuries while a second person was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich.
A Santander spokesman said: “Santander is pleased the two customers involved are both recovering. We have apologised to both and we are launching a full investigation to understand what caused the incident.” =
