GREENWICH: St John Ambulance to hold open day for residents

ST JOHN Ambulance is throwing open its doors to the people of Greenwich.

Four St John units from the area are inviting people to come along and meet them at an open day at Shrewsbury House, in Bushmoor Crescent, Shooters Hill from 11am to 3pm on March 27.

There will be activities for youngsters aged 10 to 18 including casualty simulation make-up, and a chance to meet some of the young members of the crews.

David Lewis, president of the Woolwich Division, said “Some of the simplest First Aid techniques can save a life, whether at home, at work, or elsewhere. "Don’t leave it too late to find out about them.”
