POLICE are hunting a man who raped a 15-year-old girl in a park.
The incident happened on Saturday (March 6) in Beckenham Place Park, Beckenham, between 4pm and 5.30pm.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man, aged 21 to 25, of skinny build and 6ft tall.
He had short black hair and wore grey tracksuit bottoms.
He raped and assaulted the teenager, pushing her into a stream in the park and holding her head under water.
Detective Inspector Simon Ellershaw, who is investigating the attack, said: “It was broad daylight in a popular park. I am appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard anything of the incident.
"Were you in the park that afternoon? Did you see a white girl fighting with a light-skinned black man?”
