POLICE are appealing for help in catching people who have assaulted bus drivers in Lewisham and Bromley.

New CCTV images have been released through Operation BusTag, a collaboration between the Met Police, bus companies and Transport for London.

Once again BusTag has enlisted the help of News Shopper's award-winning Shop A Yob campaign because of its success in putting names to faces captured on CCTV.

News Shopper: The driver asked all of the passengers to get off the 261 bus but a youth threw a milkshake over the driver before kicking the bus and throwing a large brick which smashed one of the bus’s windows.

On August 22 last year at 8.30am a 261 bus travelling along Baring Road towards St Mildreds Road in Grove Park was stopped because of a damaged wing mirror.
