CELEBRITY chef Jamie Oliver aims to improve school meals for a new TV reality show.
The cook will spend six weeks at Kidbrooke School, in Corelli Road, Blackheath, for the series which will be shown on Channel 4.
Working with Greenwich Council's catering services in the kitchens, he will look at ways to make menus more nutritious as well as more appetising.
Pupils were given the news at a school assembly on Monday.
Filming at the school started yesterday.
Mr Oliver's spokesman said: "He will be there on and off till the end of term working with students and catering staff so he can look at ways schools can improve food for the kids."
