PEOPLE are being asked to share their memories of a hospital to celebrate and preserve its history.
Eltham and Mottingham Cottage Hospital at Passey Place, Eltham was closed in 1980 but has since hosted the Passey Clinic and a nursing home.
In 2011 a new community hospital will be opening at the site with 40 care beds, a GP practice with extended opening hours, and an urgent-care centre.
People are being urged to share their stories at St Mary’s Community Complex, Eltham High Street, Eltham, on October 17 from 10am to 1pm.
NHS Greenwich engagement facilitator Aaron Hamilton said: “We would like anyone who has a memory of the Cottage hospital, Eltham and Mottingham House or any of the services provided on the health site to come and tell or show us about it.
“Whether it is a photo, a story, a memory, or something more unique, we would like to hear from you.”
