Two police officers also suffered injuries
A DRIVER has been left with serious injuries after a collision with a police car.
The incident happened in Shooters Hill Road, Woolwich, at around noon on Saturday (Aug 22) while the police car was responding to an emergency call.
An ambulance was called to the scene and the driver was airlifted to hospital.
Police say he is no longer in a critical condition.
Two police officers also suffered minor cuts and bruises.
The Met’s Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
