A NEWLY refurbished library will be holding an open day.
On Thursday (July 9), from 3pm to 8pm, visitors to Manor House Library, in Old Road, Lewisham, will be able to explore the 18th-century building, chat to library staff, learn how to make crafts and even enjoy an Indian head massage.
The library was re-opened in May after being closed for refurbishment works since January last year.
The open day is being held by Lewisham Council to celebrate the results of a report for libraries and adult education in the borough.
Lewisham Mayor Sir Steve Bullock said: “Lewisham Council is dedicated to further developing libraries and adult learning in the borough.”
