A NEW advice service has been launched to help residents and businesses feeling the squeeze in the recession.
Greenwich Council’s Beat the Squeeze advice service at the Eltham Centre, Archery Road, Eltham, will offer both online support and face-to-face advice sessions.
Councillor Chris Roberts, leader of the council, said: “No community is immune from the effects of the current economic downturn, and Greenwich Council recognises that residents and businesses need advice in coping with the impact.
“Many of the people now facing unemployment have worked for all their adult lives and we see it as a priority to offer all the support we can to those affected.
To book a free advice session please call 020 8921 8360.
