YOUNG musicians will be entertaining residents as part of a festival to promote music in the capital.
Greenwich Park’s bandstand will play host to a day of performances by young musicians and groups on Saturday (July 11), from 12pm to 4pm.
The free event is part of the Mayor of London’s Rhythm of London festival which runs from for two days from Friday (July 10).
Boris Johnson said: “Learning to play music at a young age can be the key to a lifetime of pleasure.
“Rhythm of London is all about opening up those opportunities and nurturing the talent of young people. Come along and enjoy what's on offer.”
