LEWISHAM East's MP has helped launch an initiative to catch yobs who damage trains with graffiti.
Bridget Prentice visited Lewisham station to promote the Name that Tag campaign, a Government programme encouraging people to turn in graffiti vandals.
The campaign, backed by clean-ups in the worst affected areas, will feature posters of the most prolific tags on trains and in stations.
Mrs Prentice said: "This initiative will give our community the support it needs to wipe out graffiti on our trains, tubes, railway bridges and bus stops."
Lewisham resident David Ladd, 61, a guide for the London Tourist Board, said: "The station is one of the grottiest in the metropolis. We ought to offer a better face to visitors."
