Greenwich personal trainer Shenda Falvey named Wonder Woman

A PERSONAL trainer has soared to victory in a competiton to find the area's 'wonder woman'.

Shenda Falvey was named Wonder Woman of the Year for Lewisham and Greenwich in a competition to find the best local entrepreneur.

In true heroic fashion, she defeated 60 rivals to claim the title on International Women's Day.

Ms Falvey meets people for one-to-one sessions and also leads six fitness 'bootcamps' a week at West Parkside, next to The O2.

She said: "I've yet to replace my tubing bands and skipping ropes with a golden lasso or my gym kit with a sparkly corset and hot pants, but I feel very honoured to have won the title, especially as it was my clients who secured me the top spot."

The competition was run by the Wonder Women Network - a business network for female entrepreneurs.
