MIDWIVES will be offering pregnant mums and their partners information and advice from this month onwards.
Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich will be providing the new early pregnancy service on the third Wednesday of each month, starting from October 17.
The service will be provided to any pregnant woman who would like to know more about services available in the area.
Along with meeting the midwives and touring the hospital's pregnancy unit, information will be available on hypnobirthing, baby massage, antenatal and baby yoga, real nappies, breastfeeding and many other topics.
The evenings run from 7pm to 9pm at the antenatal clinic. No appointment is needed.
Community midwifery manager Giuseppe Labriola said: "We have geared it mainly towards women in early pregnancy, but we would be happy to welcome any pregnant woman who is interested in calling in."
