Garden party to celebrate 20th anniversary at Ralph Perring Court

RESIDENTS living in charitable housing held a garden party for a special birthday celebration.

Ralph Perring Court in Stone Park Avenue, Beckenham, has celebrated its 20th anniversary with a party in their garden.

Most of the 120 residents turned out for the event, which included a champagne reception.

Manager Suzanne Eilbeck said: “Everybody thought it was lovely. It was an opportunity for residents to be made to feel special. The sun came out as well so we were very lucky.”

The housing is owned by Morden College, a charity for retired professional people based in Blackheath.

Residents have access to a community hall, a billiards room, a bar, a lounge and a library.
