With summer in full swing and the sun shining, one of the best ways to spend a Saturday is to head to one of the many beautiful parks in south east London.

One of the most popular parks in the area is Greenwich Park, which also has numerous popular pubs surrounding it.

We have compiled a list of five pubs that are a short walk from Greenwich Park for anyone looking to finish their day with a pint this weekend after relaxing in the park.

King’s Arms

This pub describes itself as “modernly presented” with a “cosy indoor vibe”.

As well as being a two-minute walk from Greenwich Park, it also has a beer garden.

The Plume of Feathers

The Plume of Feathers is a single-room pub opposite Greenwich Park with maritime-style decor, a restaurant and a garden.

Situated on Park Vista, it is directly outside of Greenwich Park, perfect for anyone looking for a spot nearby this weekend.

Greenwich Tavern

Less than a minute walk from Greenwich Park, this pub is right by the park’s entrance.

It is situated on the corner of Nevada Street and King William Walk.

It is a family run gastropub that offers food as well as drinks.

Ye Old Rose and Crown Greenwich

This spot is a traditional corner pub with dark wood interior, serving real ales and British food.

Situated on the corner of Nevada Street and Crooms Hill, Ye Old Rose and Crown Greenwich is another great option if you are not looking to stray far from Greenwich Park for a drink this weekend.

Prince of Greenwich Museum Pub

This pub is a more historic option and only a few minutes away from Greenwich Park.

The pub retains a Victorian ambience and hosts live music as well as offering food and drink.
