Customers have expressed confusion after a branch of Poundland was found to be selling ‘Trump merchandise’ in Catford.

A woman has taken to Twitter confused as to why a Catford Poundland would be selling ‘Make America Great Again’ caps and other Trump paraphernalia.

She said: “Hi @Poundland What's the idea with the Trump merchandise on sale in your Catford branch?”

Now, we would be confused too if we saw merchandise related to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign from 2016.

Poundland replied but are you convinced by their response?

They said: “Oops! They’re from the Halloween range last year, looks as though they’ve found their way onto the shop floor by mistake. Thanks for bringing this to our attention - Zoe.”

We are almost certain that Trump doesn’t regularly frequent Catford, or why the people of it would want to begin to dress like him, but there we are.

So, if you fancy a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat for £1, which is probably all they were worth anyway, quickly head down to Poundland in Catford.
