A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 54-year-old man was stabbed in Plumstead.
Emergency services were called to a house in Brookdene Road last night (Tuesday) to reports of a stabbing and found a man with stab wounds.
The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

As police and ambulances attended the scene, there were reports on social media that an air ambulance also landed nearby.
A Met Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called on Tuesday, 19 June at around 18:50 hours to a report of a stabbing in an address in Brookdene Road, SE18.
"Officers attended and found a man believed to be aged 54 with stab injuries.
"The London Ambulance attended and he was taken to a south London hospital. His condition is serious but stable.
"A 19-year-old male was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and taken into custody at a south London police station.
"Enquiries continue."
