The BBC has been ruthlessly mocked for ‘quoting’ the royal baby just a few hours after his birth.

BBC News UK tweeted: “Royal baby: 'New mums have so much unnecessary pressure'” prompting a barrage of ridicule from the public.

The article attached is mothers comparing their own experiences to the pristine appearance of Kate just hours after giving birth.

A number of mothers took to social media to compare themselves leaving the hospital after giving birth and Kate’s appearance.

Some mothers suggested there was more pressure on Kate and this was because they were allowed to walk out the hospital in tracksuit bottoms and no makeup - Kate was fully decked out.

The BBC’s tweet received over 60 replies about the “royal baby’s quote” with sarcastic, hilarious and dumbfounded reponses.

David Griffiths said: “Fair play to the bbc for getting a quote out of the royal baby.”

Gaesci said: “What an eloquent newborn!”

Honor Sandi said: “Another reason royal babies are special, they can speak 7hrs after birth.”

Rem Oscuro said: “Speaking after a day. Quantum mechanics by the weekend.”

And last but certainly not least, Steve Taylor said: “If he’s learned to speak so young, and have developed opinions on family policy, he probably deserves to be higher up than fifth in line.”
