A Woolwich man has gone on trial charged with the murder of Bilal Kargbo in Peckham.
Parish Ofoeme, 23, of Burrage Road, denies killing Mr Kargbi, aged 26, who was stabbed close to Blenheim Grove on the afternoon of Friday April 28 this year.
Ofoeme is today (Tuesday) facing the second day of his trial at Inner London Crown Court, where, at a separate hearing in July, he pleaded not guilty to murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
* At the time of his death, Mr Kargbo was said to be the sixth knife crime fatality in London in the space of a week
