Children at the cancer unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital received a visit from a galaxy far, far away.
The cosmic celebration saw the cancer patients receive visits from Kylo Ren and Rey from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Children’s play specialist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Carol Sullivan-Wallace, said: “It was such an absolute delight to have our out-of-town visitors come and see us.
“They brought such much fun and enjoyment both for the children on Tiger Ward, adult patients and staff.
“I organised this tea party as a celebration for the children to mark the end of summer and am so happy it has been such a great success; not just for them but for lots of other people who both work here or were visiting the hospital.”
