A man is dead after being stabbed in Charlton.
Police were called at 5.50pm yesterday, June 13, to reports of a man stabbed on Woolwich Road.
London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance also attended as they fought to save the man’s life.
They were unsuccessful and the man, believed to be in his early 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene at 6.30pm.
Police said his next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination is due to be held.
There have been no arrests and police enquiries continue.
