Police are hunting thieves who stole a unique mobile fish and chip van - covered in news print.
The converted Ford Transit van was taken from the driveway of businessman George Williams, 36, in Crown Woods Way, Eltham, yesterday lunchtime (July 19).
The distinctive van is covered in giant news print including the words 'Delicious... Fish & Chips' on the back.
Married father-of-two Mr Williams serves up fish and chip suppers for private parties and weddings.
He said: "It's my livelihood.
"It's been taken from outside my Dad's house where it was parked.
"I've got a private party booked this Saturday.
"I just need the van back. I would urge whoever took it to please get it back to me - It's my business.
"There's no other van like it. It's covered in newspaper print so it's fairly obvious."
The van has since been found in nearby Riefield Road, but Mr Williams is warning others in the area that they too could fall victim, and is urging anyone who saw anything to contact the police.
