All these creatures great and small have been entered into our Cute Pets competition.
We are looking for the most adorable animal in south-east London and north Kent.
After previously selecting 10 dogs and 10 cats to go through to the final, we have invited owners of all ‘other’ pets to submit photos of their furry, feathered or scaly friends.
As you’ll see from browsing through the gallery of pictures above, entries have been varied – including tortoises, hamsters, lizards, ferrets, a chicken and a snail.
Due to the lower numbers in this category compared to the others, we’ll be choosing just our five favourite photos over the next few days.
We’ll then be ready for the grand final of Cute Pets - this will begin on June 29 when the public will vote for which of the 25 finalists should be crowned the champion for this year.
A cash prize of £75 and much glory will go to the owner of the winning pet, plus runners-up prizes will be up for grabs.
