Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information after an aggravated burglary in Woolwich last Thursday (April 14).
Police were called to the property on Bloomfield Road at 10.40pm to reports of two men forcing entry.
Armed with a crowbar and a metal pole, the two men forced entry to a back door while the occupants were inside their home.
After a struggle, the two suspects ran off empty-handed towards Raglan Road, turning right towards Anglesea Road.
The suspects were dressed in black clothing and no further description is available.

A woman in her 70s was treated by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) before being taken to hospital.
Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A man in his 40s also sustained minor injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone with knowledge of this incident who may have seen or heard anything to come forward.
