A flat was damaged after a fire ripped through it in Greenwich.
Some 21 fire fighters battled the blaze in a first floor flat in Armitage Road yesterday (January 27).
A third of the living room was destroyed by the flames.
The rest of the flat suffered heat and smoke damage.
Luckily the person living at the address was out at the time.
MORE TOP STORIES The London Fire Brigade (LFB) sent four fire engines to the scene after being called at 10.45am.
Fire fighters from East Greenwich, Greenwich and Dockhead fire stations quelled the flames, which was over by 11.30.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
