A 40-year-old Welling man has been arrested on suspicion of theft after a woman’s phone was thrown out of a window on a train.
British Transport Police had issued an appeal for help identifying a man following a phone theft onboard a London Bridge to Charlton train on July 31 at around 10.20pm.
The arrested man has been bailed until October 22 pending further enquiries.
